A magnitude 5.2 earthquake struck Tarlac City at 10:30 p.m. Tuesday night, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (PHIVOLCS) reported.
According to PHIVOLCS, the epicenter of the quake was 7 kilometers southeast of the town of Tarlac. It is tectonic in nature and has a depth of field of 184 kilometers.
No damage is expected, but aftershocks are possible, the agency said.
