Rajendran from the city of Chennai in the southern Indian state of Tamil Nadu has been fascinated by bicycles since childhood.
The 57-year-old, who works in a turning shop, has turned his passion to designing his own bikes out of scrap metal.
Rajendran’s latest invention – said to run without a chain – took a year and a half and cost Rs 60,000 ($728.8; £630.2).
He can often be seen riding through the streets of Chennai with his creations to introduce them to the people.
