A fire at a factory in the Chinese city of Anyang, Henan province has killed 38 people, state media newspaper People’s Daily reported on Tuesday.
The fire broke out at Kaixinda Trading in the city’s “high-tech” district at 16:22 local time (08:22 GMT) on Monday and was completely extinguished around 11:00 p.m., according to the local government press release.
The statement also said the police had arrested a suspect.
Two other people were hospitalized with minor injuries.
