The Manila Hotel Art Gallery Features Lander Blanza’s 12th Solo Exhibition, ‘Prominence’ | MANILA, Philippines — The Manila Hotel’s Art Gallery is showcasing Prominence: A Visual Break from the Norm, the 12th solo exhibition of Filipino multidimensional artist Lander Blanza, featuring paintings and brass sculptures that explore tone, texture, depth, and the symbolism of abundance, nature, and prosperity.
Running until October 31, 2026, the month-long exhibition invites visitors to explore Blanza’s distinctive artistic approach, which uses tonal manipulation to create dimension, movement, and visual balance across his works.
Paintings Explore Abundance, Nature, and Landscapes
Prominence brings together several of Blanza’s notable art series, each presenting a different interpretation of familiar themes.
The Abundance series explores wealth and prosperity, while Big Catch draws inspiration from nature’s richness and seemingly endless bounty. Meanwhile, the Ridge series captures dramatic mountain formations through atmospheric compositions that emphasize depth and landscape.
Beyond paintings, the exhibition features Blanza’s brass sculptures, including works from his Bonsai, Lucky Bamboo, and Money Tree series. Combining intricate craftsmanship with recognizable symbols, these sculptures explore themes of beauty, harmony, growth, and fortune.
Together, the collections offer visitors a closer look at the artist’s use of materials, visual techniques, and symbolic elements to create works that encourage reflection and appreciation.

Filipino Artist Brings International Experience to Manila
Blanza has previously held solo exhibitions in Belgium, Germany, Switzerland, Austria, London, Italy, and Singapore. His international exhibition experience brings a broader perspective to Prominence, further highlighting the presence of Filipino artists in the global art scene.
